ISO certification with EUROTECH starts at $800 for management system standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. The final cost depends mainly on your number of employees, number of sites, the complexity of your scope and whether the audit is online or on site. Other services start at different prices, listed below. You can see every standard we cover on our ISO certification services page.

What moves the price up or down
For ISO management system certification, the price follows the audit time your organization needs. Audit time is set mainly by four things.
- Employees: more people in scope means more processes and records to sample.
- Sites: each additional site with different activities adds time, and on-site audits add travel.
- Complexity: design and development, regulated products, hazardous processes or many energy uses all increase audit time.
- Integration: combining standards such as ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 into one audit usually costs less than separate audits.
The cost over three years
An ISO certificate runs on a three-year cycle: the initial certification audit, a surveillance audit in each of the next two years, and a recertification audit before the certificate expires. Budget for the whole cycle, not only the first year. Surveillance audits are shorter than the initial audit, so they cost less.
Ask for the full three-year cost in writing at the start. EUROTECH quotes the audit days and fees for the cycle, so there are no surprises later.
Costs that are not the certification fee
The certification fee is only part of the total. Companies also spend internal time building and running the system, may buy the standard itself from ISO or a national standards body, and some choose to hire a consultant or train staff. Training is available through MEGADEMI at megademi.com.
For schemes certified by third-party bodies, such as BRCGS or FSSC 22000, and for platforms such as Sedex or EcoVadis, there may also be scheme, platform or membership fees paid to the scheme owner. We show how these are handled in your quote.
How to keep the cost down
- Define a clear, honest scope that matches what customers need
- Have records ready and organized before the auditor asks
- Combine standards into one integrated audit where possible
- Choose an online audit where the standard and your buyer allow it
- Fix gaps found at Stage 1 before Stage 2
